Fleadh Cheoil an Chlair 2022 will be held from June 11- June 19th at Cois na hAbhna, Ennis.

Closing date for entries is April 1st:

Comhaltas Members MUST enter through their Branch Secretary.

Non Members MUST  send entries to the County Secretary Anne Hayes, Main Street, Lissycasey, Ennis.

Competitions for U12, U15, U18 and Adult.

Under 9 competitions will take place in the Autumn so NO entries being taken at this time for U9.

The Mary Fennell Memorial Cup for Ladies Set Dancing 12-15 

The Set dancing cup will be presented to the winners of the Ladies Set dancing 12-15 and is in remembrance of the late Mary Fennell, Kilrush. Mary was involved in Kilrush Comhaltas all her life and was the 1st one at the door at ALL Fleadh dancing competitions. Mary was very proud of her family and in particular of John and his hell for leather school of dance. Inis Cathaigh Comhaltas are delighted to be involved in the presentation of this cup with the Fennell Family and this cup will ensure that Mary is remembered at every Clare Fleadh in the future.

The John Hanrahan Memorial Cup for Button Accordion 12-15.

The Button Accordion cup will be presented to the winner of the U15 Button Accordion competition and is in remembrance of John Hanrahan, Decomade, Lissycasey. John was very well known in Traditional Music circles playing accordion, singing a good ballad and of course dancing many a set.
Joan Hanrahan -Hogan , daughter of John, presented the cup, on behalf of the Hanrahan family to Anne Hayes, County Secretary and also a neighbour of John’s for many years.
